Former ASFA CEO Pauline Vamos joins Mercer Superannuation board

Mercer has announced that Pauline Vamos, formerly CEO of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA), has joined the Board of Mercer Superannuation (Australia) Limited.

Ben Walsh, CEO and Managing Director of Mercer Australia said he is “delighted” by the experience and skills Ms Vamos will bring to the Board.

“Pauline is a leading figure and influencer within the financial services industry and is known for driving policy, governance and regulation excellence – all attributes which mirror the Board’s values and vision,” he said.

“Her appointment firmly establishes our determination in ensuring we have the right firepower behind us to achieve our growth objectives and deliver value-added services to clients.”

Following the appointment Vamos said: “It’s an exciting time to join the Board.”
